Change Effexor for cymbalta. Effexor works very well for me but due to chronic back pain, doctor suggests cymbalta.
I am afraid of side effects if I switch Effexor for Cymbalta. Tylenol arthritis is working for me. Shouldn't I keep Effexor with Tylenol arthritis?

Hello and thank you for your question. Without commenting directly on your situation, it is true that changing an effective and well-tolerated medication is usually avoided. I would encourage you to discuss this further with your doctor to assess all your options
If you tell your doctor that Tylenol is working for you and that it allows you to go about your daily activities, that would be a start. However, since I don't have all the information I need to make a decision, I think you should discuss it with your doctor.
if a change is ever considered, you will benefit from the support of your pharmacist to ensure a more effective transition

Good evening,
Just a small additional question, is it harmful to take tylenol arthritis (1 tablet) every day?
Thank you again,

No, one tablet a day is below the maximum dose and is not harmful. However, it is important to avoid taking alcohol.
