I have dark discharge with Nuvaring, is this normal?

Hi, I have been taking the ring for about 4 months. I have to take it out tomorrow since I've had it for 3 weeks. Since yesterday, I have brownish discharge and today more reddish...(I don't know if it can be important, but I tested positive to the covid a week ago, I have no more symptoms other than a light cough) I wore it well for 3 weeks without taking it off!
