My thumb hurts, what should I do?

Hello, My thumb vein has been hurting since today! It seems to be more sensitive and painful! More apparent than usual too! I took an advil and I'm waiting to see if it works

Good morning, ma'am,

Are you able to identify a possible cause, such as a false move, a shock or something else?

I also suggest ice in a wet towel for 10 to 15 minutes, as often as desired during the day

If the pain worsens for no apparent reason, or persists beyond 2 weeks, I suggest consulting a physician, as a precaution.
