I am positive for ureaplasma parvum. The prescription I received is claritromycin 500mg 2x/day for 10 days. Is this effective enough? Will it completely eliminate the bacteria? if i missed a dose of 500mg (instead of 1g) on day 5 is it serious? should i make up for it? Thank you

Hello,

According to the references I have looked at, clarithromycin is among the possible treatments.

As for the missed dose, I have not seen any recommendations to double the next dose.
