Is it normal to have so much neurological pain with shingles?

This Thursday I was diagnosed with Shingles because the pimples came out on Wednesday, but since Sunday I had burning sensations on the left side of my body. The pimples are on the left side, in the center of the torso, the breast, the underarm and the back.

Yes, pain can accompany shingles quite frequently. Taking Tylenol can help, but if the pain is severe, I recommend talking to a doctor about starting another type of treatment, if deemed necessary.
