Is it okay to remove the vaginal ring (Nuvaring) during sex if I put it back on right away?

Generally, the Nuvaring ring does not harm your partner during sex. It is best to leave it in place. If the ring is removed or taken out of the vagina for less than 3 hours, it can be put back in as soon as possible and left in place until the day of removal/change.
