Can cannabis and trintellix be taken together?

24-year-old womana year ago
Hello, I have to take trintellix 5mg for 1 week and then we increase to 10mg. I also use cannabis regularly and in large quantities. Is this to be avoided or should I reduce my cannabis consumption?

Hello,
To answer your question, I would need to know:
  • Are you taking THC or CBD?
  • Trintellix was started to treat which health problem?

So there is no interaction between THC and Trintellix. However, it is important to understand that cannabis has a relaxing effect at the time, but when the effect begins to wear off, it can increase anxiety. Thus, one must wonder if his use of cannabis is amplifying his anxiety symptoms.
In addition, cannabis has an anti-motivational effect and can promote a decrease in attention. These effects should be kept in mind, as they can contribute to a lack of concentration. In addition, it can make people less likely to take charge of their lives and find ways to manage their anxiety.
