I am very concerned about my health as I have heard that COVID-19 is more dangerous for people with health problems. Obviously this concerns me as I have cancer. Could you tell me what the risks are for me and what I could do to avoid them?

Hello Sir,
Basically, we all have the same risk of contracting the virus, regardless of our medical history. However, some people are at greater risk of serious complications; those who are immunocompromised, those with chronic illnesses, as well as the elderly.
In other words, you are correct in saying that you are at greater risk in connection with a possible COVID19 infection.
For now, the most effective way to prevent the transmission of the virus is via prevention. Therefore, I encourage you to practice the following hygiene measures:
Wash your hands often with warm running water and soap for at least 20 seconds.
Cover your mouth and nose with your arm to reduce the spread of germs.
Stay home and avoid contact with outsiders.
