What can I take for tooth pain?

Hi, I had a dental surgery on August 23rd and last night the pain peaked and today it’s barely tolerable. I was prescribed Teva Emtec and ive been taking once every 4-6 hours and now started taking two and there is no effect or very brief.

Hello Miss, I am sorry to read about your troubles! If you are not pregnant or trying to be, or have other contraindications (your pharmacist will be able to confirm that with you), an anti-inflammatory like Advil or Motrin can be added to Teva Emtec as needed. it can irritate the stomach so it should be taken with food, or a big glass of milk or some yogurt of you don't eat.
