I'm traveling and I've been having a lot of pain in my stomach. Would probiotics help me get my digestive system back in order? Can I take probiotics with dexlansoprazole (Dexilant)

I am currently traveling abroad and need some advice. Following a fracture of the humerus I had a prescription for STATEX which I have been taking as needed to avoid pain for about a month. I had to take about 50 tablets of 5 mg. I suffered 3 days ago from a really intense burning in my stomach, which I think is called a liver attack. I stopped taking STATEX because I think that's what caused it. I am using TYLENOL extra strength, 500 mg to counter the pain due to the fracture, 2 or 3 tablets a day. I take one DEXILANT 30 mg tablet every day for acid reflux, as prescribed by my doctor. I still have discomfort on my right side (which I think is my liver). Questions Would the use of probiotics (PROBACLAC) be appropriate to get my digestive system back in order? Is there any contraindication to using it at the same time as the DEXILANT? What do you recommend?

In my opinion, there is little chance that the Statex (morphine) is the cause of your heartburn. I would try taking it again if your arm pain is not sufficiently relieved by just taking Tylenol. In any case, there is no contraindication to using a probiotic like Probaclac with Dexilant.

Although taking probiotics is unlikely to reduce your painful stomach symptoms, I understand your reasoning for wanting to try them (being on a trip). Follow the dosage written on the bottle.

To conclude, for your stomach pain, try to see if it could be related to the food you eat.
