Red pimples on the body for 2 weeks?

Usually shingles does not last that long and has a different layout. Chickenpox causes pimples that become vesicles and then scabs.

Do the pimples cause pain, itching or anything else? Have you applied anything for this problem?

Thanks for the feedback. You can apply a fragrance-free moisturizer like Aveeno (or calamine) as often as needed, whenever the need to scratch arises, among other things.

Avoid scented soaps, and after the bath or shower, avoid rubbing the skin vigorously: instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, then apply the moisturizer within 5 minutes of getting out of the bath.

If this does not work after 2 weeks, you should consult a doctor to properly assess the situation.
