Itchy pimples on the back of my daughter's neck and ears?

Hello, for the last 3 days my daughter has had pimples on the back of her neck and ear that itch. My other children have nothing so I suppose it is not contagious. I thought it might be an allergic reaction to the soap or shampoo, so I gave benadryl and it didn't change anything... what do you think it could be? Thanks

Good morning, ma'am,
You did the right thing by suspecting a contact reaction considering the affected area (shampoo/revitalizer, soap, cream, detergent, clothing in particular or bedding, other product like backpack or other). Have you stopped using all of these?
Benadryl may indeed help, but if it itches, the lesions may look like they are not getting better. Have you applied a cream like Aveeno or other?

Yes! I put aveeno cream on him. Now averno soap too. Should I give him another dose of benadryl today?

Thanks for the feedback! Benadryl should be enough, especially if she is no longer exposed to the allergen, if any. Continue to apply Aveeno as often as necessary. If there is no improvement after 5 days, I suggest consulting a doctor as a precaution.
