Could it be heat rash? I was working out yesterday and I got hot. I saw that it can be caused by sweat.

Hello, I have not done any particular activity or eaten anything new. After my shower, I discovered that I had heat spots on the back of my neck and on my upper back.

Good morning, ma'am,
It is quite difficult to establish the situation without having seen the lesions in question.
Since their appearance, have the lesions changed in appearance?
Have you applied anything unusual or new, such as perfume, cream, soap, detergent or anything else?
Have you tried anything on the lesions?

Hello, I didn't do anything special or new. After my shower, I have new areas with these little pimples. I tried to exfoliate them, without success. They sting a little and get red when I scratch.
The area that had pimples first did not change, they did not change in size.
thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.
The following non-pharmacological measures will be tried first:
For the next few weeks, avoid hot showers or baths. Avoid soaps on the affected area, wash only with water.
After showering or bathing, avoid rubbing the skin to dry it, instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture and apply a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, Base Glaxal, Cerave or other quickly after getting out of the shower. Apply the cream as often as needed throughout the day, whenever the urge to scratch arises.
Keep a diary of when and how much you break out/itch, this may help identify triggers.
If these measures are not successful after 14 days or if the situation worsens, you should seek medical attention as a precaution.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
