The lump in my cheek is causing me pain. Is this normal? What should I do?

I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed Monday morning. Today is Saturday and I have a ball in my cheek. I can touch it and make the boundary with my finger. It is of course on the side of my cheek and not near my wisdom teeth.

Hello ma'am, is it an irritation, an ulcer or a canker sore?

None of these three choices. On the outside of my cheek I can clearly feel a lump inside my skin.
on the inside of my cheek, in my mouth, I have a lump, but it is the same color as the rest of my cheek.

Thanks for the feedback.
A tooth extraction can cause swelling even several days after the procedure. For now, just to monitor the situation, we can suggest applying ice in a wet towel for 10 to 15 minutes at a time as often as desired during the day. If your dentist has prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and your pharmacist has validated the safety of the prescription, I encourage you to take it.
If the swelling increases or other symptoms occur such as pain, fever or other symptoms, you should consult your dentist.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
