Could the fact that my vaginal discharge is discoloring my underwear be related to an infection or something? Thank you!

Hello, my vaginal discharge seems to discolor my underwear for some time. They have a certain smell (but they don't smell like fish) and are more or less abundant. I have been taking the birth control pill for several years and have had the same sexual partner for 5 years. I had a gynecological test 3 months ago and everything was normal.

Hello Madam,

Vaginal secretions are acidic, in order to protect you from infections among others. This acidity could well be the cause of the discoloration you describe. If you have no increased discharge, no pain or itching, and your situation has otherwise not changed since the last gynecological test, I would not be inclined to worry about this. What do you think?
