I started the treatment 7 days ago, I'm at half the dose for 2 weeks (30mg) and then I'll go to 60mg for 4 to 6 months. Before I was taking calcium-magnesium-zinc, probiotics and a multivitamin. Now I can't take my multivitamin anymore because it contains vitamin A and I continue to take my probiotic only, because I'm not sure if I can take vitamins. Which ones would you recommend during this treatment and which ones should I avoid? With winter coming I was thinking of taking vitamin D, but are there any in particular that can help my body during the Epuris treatment? Thank you for enlightening me on this subject! For now the only side effect I have is mainly dry lips

Hello,
There is no recommended vitamin/supplement during an Epuris treatment, as this treatment does not influence the absorption or the way the body uses these vitamins. I invite you to read my answer to a similar question about recommended supplements/vitamins for the general population

Also, Epuris does not interact with calcium, magnesium and zinc, so it is perfectly fine to continue them. Otherwise, the only recommendation I give can be summed up in one word: hydration. This includes preventive moisturizing of the skin (moisturizer), lips (lip balm) and, if needed, eyes (moisturizing drops), as dryness will increase with increasing dose.

Okay, thanks for the information. I was also wondering if the dryness means that the treatment will work? Or is there not necessarily a link between this effect and the success of the treatment?

There is no link between dryness and treatment success. Dryness is a side effect of the medication. It is common, but not present in all people.
