Hello, I have burning and a lot of dryness in my vagina. Is this treated with vaginitis cream or is there something in the pharmacy for vaginal dryness?

Hello, if you don't have symptoms such as: whitish vaginal discharge and/or itching, it doesn't seem to be a "yeast vaginitis" so antifungal creams such as "canesten or monistat" would probably not be of any use. The symptoms described seem to me to be more consistent with a problem of vaginal dryness. There are various over the counter products that can be tried to moisturize the vaginal mucosa and improve comfort. Replens'' or ''Gynatrof'' are interesting because of their prolonged action which allows an application every 2 to 3 days only. Hoping this information is useful, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions. Have a nice day, Isabelle Pelletier, pharmacist
