Hello, I am taking Symbicort as a pump and I would like to know what are the possible side effects of this medication?

Symbicort actually contains two different medications, budesonide and formoterol. Together they can cause several types of side effects. These side effects are rare, but can still occur.

Restlessness, muscle cramps, nervousness, palpitations, racing heart, tremors and sleep disturbances can all be caused by Symbicort. So can hoarseness, throat irritation, coughing, nausea, dizziness, headaches and fungus (candida) in the mouth. Finally, some people bruise more easily and are more prone to pneumonia when using this product.

All of these effects must be taken in context and you should discuss them with your doctor and pharmacist to determine if this medication is right for you.
