Hello, I take Femara to ovulate, but I notice that my periods have decreased and the pregnancy tests I do are negative every time (I have polycystic ovarian syndrome). What more could I do to succeed in conceiving a child in your opinion?

I take Femara 5mg per day for 5 days, and Metformin 2gr 2x per day, polycystic ovarian syndrome

Hello, your treatment seems appropriate. Do you know if you are ovulating? (ovulation test? temperature curve) If the ovulation tests are negative, I advise you to consult your doctor and/or a fertility clinic for investigation. There are several possible causes for having difficulty conceiving: fertility of the spouse, endometriosis, "blocked" fallopian tubes and many others. I suggest you discuss this with your doctor. Have a good day and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions, Isabelle Pelletier, pharmacist
