Is there anything stronger than Ventolin for asthma?

I have been chronically asthmatic since I was a child, I have always been followed up but for the last 4 years I have not had a family doctor. I've been taking Ventolin for several years now but I find that it doesn't give me the same relief as before. I can't afford to take the other medications anymore so this is the only one I use now. Thank you

Hello! Have you had prescriptions for other types of pumps? Ventolin is for symptom relief, not disease control. If you need to use your Ventolin more often, or if it doesn't give you the relief you used to get, it could be a sign that your condition is not well controlled, or that it is getting worse.
