Hello, I got vaginitis after taking Clavulin. So I took CanesOral, but I notice that it burns between my buttocks (red and swollen). Could this be related? What can I do to relieve it? Thank you

All syptomas started at the same time, 3 days after the antibiotic was taken.

Hello,
Fluconazole capsule is indeed a good choice to treat antibiotic-induced vaginitis. If you have irritation between your buttocks, is it because you have diarrhea? Frequent and loose stools can indeed cause redness and tenderness in the anal and perianal area. I suggest that you apply very cold compresses (washcloths) to the sensitive area and then apply a moisturizing cream (e.g. CutiBase, Eucerin, Cerave) once or twice a day or as long as necessary. As a last resort, to reduce redness and inflammation, cortisone cream (hydrocortisone 0.5-1%) could be applied in a thin layer to the most affected areas. Finally, prioritize cotton underwear and clothing or clothing that is not at risk of rubbing/irritating the skin of your buttocks more. If you don't see any improvement, or if your symptoms worsen 48 hours after these tests, it is best to consult a doctor

Hello and thank you for your answer. No, I don "t have diarrhea and I don "t have frequent bowel movements. I was wondering if it was possible that the fungus from the vaginitis had spread to this area as it all started at the same time.

This could be a possibility. You could apply "canesten" cream twice a day on this area and see if there is improvement.
