Hello, I ate a mango and a few hours later my ears were burning, my wrists were itching and my stomach hurt a lot. Is this an allergy? Should I be worried?

I take iron for my anemia. No known allergies.

Hello,
First of all, allergies to mango are rather rare. In the literature, very few cases have been reported. The symptoms reported are generalized itching, difficulty breathing and abdominal discomfort. In general, heartache is not related to allergic reactions. In addition, people who are allergic to shorties are usually sensitive to other substances
To make a better judgment about your case, I would need a little more information
Is there anything else that could have explained the reactions?
Was this your first time eating a mango?
Were there any visible signs of reactions on the skin or was it just a feeling?
So, at this point (without more information), I would say that the symptoms seem very specific to be an allergy. I think it's unlikely that it is indeed an allergy to the lack. Especially if there were no respiratory symptoms, I don't think you should be too concerned. However, it would be good to be careful if you are unsure. If you want to be sure, you can always take an allergy test.
Best regards,

oops typo: put mango instead of lack in several places in the text

Thank you for your answer, after writing the question I started to have patches all over my body, gnawing too, and decisions! I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist confirmed that it was a reaction to mango. I used to have a swollen lip after eating mango or kiwi but never so bad. So I took an antihistamine that knocked me out but relieved me!
