When is the best time to take my Teva-rosuvastatin 20 mg (cholesterol)?

Hi, is there a good time of day to take my cholesterol medication teva-rosuvastatin 20mg. It seems to give me less muscle pain when I take it in the morning instead of the evening... is it ok to take it in the morning?

Good evening!
Yes, Rosuvastatin can be taken in the morning. Most cholesterol medications are usually taken first thing at bedtime. However, it may be perfectly acceptable to take it in the morning with your other medications!
However, if you are experiencing muscle cramps related to your Rosuvastatin medication, I strongly encourage you to discuss this with a health care professional (e.g. your pharmacist or doctor). Sometimes medications from the same family can be tried in the hopes of eliminating these pains
We hope to have answered your question!
