Hello How do I stop taking wellbutrin for anxiety?

Hello, I have been taking wellbutrin XL 150mg for my anxiety for the past 2 weeks and I have noticed that my breastfed baby cries constantly (he hardly cried before) and has trouble taking his naps during the day.
Yes the wellbutrin helps me to have more energy but I prefer to stop it for the sake of my 4 month old baby.
Do I stop it overnight?
PS I see my doctor in 2 weeks but I want to stop it now if possible.

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, it is possible that taking Wellbutrin™ will cause the child to experience the symptoms you describe.
But you don't stop it cold turkey.
You need to taper off the dose over at least 5 to 7 days before stopping it completely. Otherwise, you may experience withdrawal symptoms (including seizures).
