My baby has loose stools?

I have a 5 week old baby and he has been on alimentum milk for 1 month, he has been having liquid stools for about 7 days. What should I do?

Hello ma'am, would it be possible to know if there are other symptoms like vomiting or fever?
Is the diarrhea all day long?
How would you describe his general condition?

He regurgitates a lot during burps and even after drinking, he can regurgitate 2 hours later. It's not in jet, no fever and it's 2-3 very liquid poops that he can make in one day, the diaper absorbed everything. I noticed this morning that there was some mucus in the 2 liquid stools that he made. After each feeding, he can squirm for several hours and cry. His family doctor didn't want to do anything to help him but I can see that he is not well

If his general condition remains good, and he continues to wet his diaper and gain weight, no need to worry. If the spit-up becomes more frequent, we suggest reducing the amount given during feedings, even if it means feeding him more often
Although he may seem uncomfortable, basically it's because he's still "learning" to digest, but that doesn't necessarily indicate a problem
