My baby has a hoarse voice. Is this a symptom of teething?

Hello, my 4 month old baby is teething. Since 3 days she has a very different voice, it is very hoarse. She doesn't have a fever and is still full of energy and good mood. Should I go and consult with her? Thank you

Hello,
Teething does not usually cause a change in voice. However, the child sometimes tends to produce a lot of saliva that collects in the throat and could create a hoarse voice
I still encourage you to look inside the throat and mouth for white patches or ulcers. If there aren't and your child is in good condition, there doesn't seem to be any reason to see a doctor.
