My 8 month old baby has little red pimples on his back, is this a cause for concern? Or is it just due to winter and their sensitive skin?

Hello!
If the pimples sting, spread or seem to bother your child, it is important to check if they are caused by an allergic reaction. If so, a hydrocortisone cream and/or an antihistamine (ex: Benadryl) could possibly be used while trying to identify and remove the cause.
On the other hand, it is also possible that the pimples are simple "heat pimples" associated with sweating, for example, and disappear without treatment over time. If they do not bother your child, I would not apply any treatment for the moment and would monitor the evolution of the situation!
I hope that I have answered your question correctly!
I look forward to hearing from you
