My baby has little red pimples with white on his buttocks. I already put cream on him at each diaper change.

What else can I do to make them go away? I am using desitin cream for now.

Hello,
In order to answer your question, I would like to have more information.
How old is your child?
Does he have any allergies?
How long have you noticed the pimples?
Are there times when the symptoms are worse?
Does your child have any other symptoms besides the rash?
Do you use Desitin at every diaper change?
Thank you

My boy is 3 1/2 months old and has no known allergies. I noticed yesterday morning and no there is no time that it is worse. Since yesterday he sleeps a lot more, is very fussy, only wants my arms and drinks a little less. I think that it could be the teeth because he has small white spots in the gums below and eats his hands a lot. However, this is my first child so I am in the unknown as far as teeth are concerned! I don't use the cream at every change unless it's a bowel movement.

I check every time he eats his hands if it could be hunger but it is not the case. He drinks every 3 hours about 100ml and more depending on the drink.

Ideally, you should see the lesions so that I can answer you properly. You could try to take a picture? If not, you could also go to the pharmacy to have the situation evaluated.
Sometimes, in the case of diaper rash, we have to apply canesten (clotrimazole) twice a day for 2 weeks. At this time, we suspect the presence of a fungus secondary to the humidity of the diaper.
However, the small white pimples are not usually present for a fungal infection
The onset is recent and he does not have a fever, we could wait 48 hours before trying canesten and only continue with Desitin.
