Can my baby be intolerant to Nutramigen too?

My baby has been taking Nutramigene milk for 13 days. Since then, she has liquid stools several times a day.

Is it possible that she is intolerant to this milk as well? Because such a high number of liquid stools worries me. The symptoms of PB intolerance subsided a bit for a few days but have come back with a vengeance in the last 2-3 days, as if we were back on regular lactose free milk.

Hello Ma'am,
It is possible that your daughter is not tolerating this milk well, yes. It's also possible that the increased amount of stool per day is related to something else entirely, such as having a virus. This is especially true if she's been having a lot of stools per day for less than 7 days.
In any case, I recommend that you discuss this with the doctor who prescribed the milk at your next appointment. Until then, know that there is no need to worry if your daughter is drinking well, as the risk of frequent bowel movements is mostly in dehydration...). If she's drinking in good amounts, is cheerful and wide awake, peeing well and sleeping well, there's no need to worry at this point.
To prevent her bottom from becoming irritated from loose stools, start using a zinc cream now.
Merry Christmas,
