Hello My 11 day old baby lost his belly button a few days ago. Since yesterday, we noticed that his belly button is bleeding.

In fact, if the bleeding is minor and seems to be subsiding, I suggest that you maintain the belly button hygiene that you already do.

However, if the area is oozing (dripping) and becomes smelly, bleeding a lot or there is redness or swelling, I suggest you see a doctor.
