My 4 month old baby has red cheeks and no other symptoms. Should I be concerned?

Hello Ma'am,
It depends!
  • How long have her cheeks been red like this?
  • Does the skin look "damaged" and rough?
  • Have you tried anything yet to reduce the redness?

It has been about a week. The skin feels rough and dry. We have applied a cheek balm a few times. Thank you

Thank you for the information.
What is baby's hygiene routine? In other words, how often do you wash his skin and what soap do you use?

She has a bath every other day And usually for the face it is only water or a little baby soap. Otherwise a washcloth humanizes 1-2 times a day.

Great, thanks for the details.
So here's what we're going to do:
  • At bath time, we don't apply soap to the face. We simply wash the face with a small washcloth;
  • After meals, we hurry to remove any food present on the skin, without rubbing too much;
  • When we get out of the bath, we apply grape seed oil or olive oil on the hands of the adult who gives the bath, and gently massage the cheeks of the child.
  • We continue the frequency of baths every other day, it's great!
  • No other products are applied to the skin.
By doing this, we should see improvement in less than 7 days.
