My 10 month old baby has a fever even with his antibiotics taken for over 2 days. Is this normal?

Hello, I have an 11 month old baby who has had a fever since last Friday. Last Sunday we went to see a doctor and everything was fine, we were told it was a virus. On Wednesday, the fever was still quite high, so we went again. Verdict; pneumonia. We started the antibiotics on Wednesday evening. This morning I gave him his 4th dose (6.3ml) and he still has a fever of 39.0 is this normal?

No, this is not normal. We should have an improvement in fever within 48 hours.
Given that we'll be heading into the weekend starting tomorrow (and then into the Christmas holidays), I'd advise you to revisit the doctor who made the diagnosis.
