A 5 month old baby who has been acting strangely for 2 days

(doesn't want to sleep, drinks very agitated and has a few pimples that appear in her face at all times) what could this mean? Would it be a good idea to consult an emergency room? Note that his temperature is 37.5, he's no longer crying but he can laugh too.

Small pimples on top of an eye, on the ear, on the cheeks... I don't see any elsewhere. Not purulent, only small red pimples so far, but not looking like heat pimples either. Size of a mosquito bite each **

Hello,
At first glance, I don't think this is a situation that requires urgent medical attention. Three weeks ago, you reported that patches were appearing after he fed on milk... Are we talking about the same patches or are we dealing with new spots? Did you change anything in his milk or his diet?

No, the last time it was patches. They stayed for a week and went away. This time, it's little red pimples. I don't think it's the same thing but I'm surprised that it appears right after the patches. He is not like he used to be. He is so quiet and calm as a baby, just the opposite of now. He only moves his legs and arms during his feedings, very fussy too and fights his sleep. I also don't know if it could be his teeth since he already has 2 out

It is quite common for a baby to have small pimples, redness or other types of lesions on his or her skin and for these to disappear on their own. Also, given the lack of fever and purulent secretions, it might be worthwhile to see a doctor just in case, but it wouldn't be an urgent priority.
As you say, it is possible that this is associated with her teething. Changing her milk to a different formulation can also cause this type of rash if it occurs
Because of babies' fragile skin, some pimples may even disappear after 1-2 months on their own. Until then, just watch for the progression of symptoms... If the pimples remain isolated in a few places, your baby doesn't seem to be scratching (itching) and doesn't have a fever, there's no need to worry... If the opposite happens or if new symptoms appear, write me again or consult your doctor if necessary.
I hope this helps... If there is anything else, I remain at your disposal.

Okay, I'll keep an eye on the fever, usually for more severe cases the fever is quite present. I'll talk to my doctor about it next Tuesday and until then I'll watch! Thank you so much I feel less anxious now!!!

It's a pleasure. If there's anything between now and your doctor's appointment next Tuesday, feel free to contact me again. :)
