Should my baby be switched to Good Start 2 milk at 6 months of age?

31-year-old womana year ago
Baby milk: hello I would like to know the difference between the good start milk 1 and #2? My daughter is 6 months old so I am wondering if I should automatically transfer to #2? Since I have more difficulty finding the #2.

Hello Mrs,
Preparations 1 and 2 are very similar, the quantities of certain ingredients such as calcium or iron may differ. Formula 2 may require a little more "effort" from the digestive system to digest. Keep in mind that it may take 2 weeks after a change to properly assess tolerance.
I don't see a problem with giving her step 1 or alternating the 2 steps.
I hope I have been helpful to you, I remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
