My 7 month old baby has pimples that have appeared on her private parts. What should I do?

If the child has only a few small pimples, does not have a fever, and does not seem to be complaining too much about the pimples, we can first try to "air out" the diaper area by leaving him or her with his or her buttocks in the air for a bit over the weekend. We will also try to dry this area well after the bath and apply zinc oxide cream if the pimples are also accompanied by redness and irritation. If nothing works to make the pimples go down by Monday, a doctor should be consulted.

If the child has a lot of pimples, seems uncomfortable, or has a fever, I would recommend seeing a doctor. :)
