In April 2019, shingles was detected within 24 hours. I had antibiotics for 10 days.

Yes, the Quebec recommendations advise waiting 1 year before receiving the shingles vaccine (Shingrix) after having had this infection

Please note that shingles is a virus. Therefore, you did not receive an antibiotic, which fights bacteria, but an antiviral, which fights viruses
