My baby doesn't eat chunks very well, what can we do?

13 month old baby who doesn't eat much. My daughter eats very little chunky food. Smooth foods pass, but she often rejects other foods. I have thought about seeing an occupational therapist or a pediatrician. I will be seeing my doctor soon.
