Would I need to see a doctor for antibiotics or can a pharmacist prescribe me something?

Good evening, I have had a dry cough for about 4-5 days, no fever and no fly. I take Tylenols at 4 o'clock and symbicort because I am asthmatic. I have no difficulty breathing, no pain.

Hello, ma'am,
Since the situation arose, has it improved or subsided?
You mention not blowing your nose, do you have a blocked or runny nose, even a little?

Today I cough much less than the last 2 days.
My nose is not blocked and does not run.

Thanks for the feedback!
In this case, Symbicort remains your best treatment and I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
If the situation persists for more than 7 days without improvement or worsens, you should consult a doctor as a precaution.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
