Can I use my asthma pumps after the expiration date?

I have asthma (especially with allergies or a cold). I have been coughing for 2 days due to a cold. I would like to take my Flovent pumps to help me keep it at bay. Can I take my Flovent pumps even though the expiry dates are 03/2020 and 09/2020? I forgot to mention that I am 31 weeks pregnant.

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question, and congratulations :)! After the expiration date indicated by the manufacturer, it is impossible to guarantee that the medication has not started to degrade, or even the device and the propellant in the case of inhalers. Using them after the expiration date may compromise their effectiveness and safety... Therefore, we cannot suggest that you continue to use your devices.
