Can teething make diaper rash worse?

My 6 month old baby has diaper rash and diarrhea, he has to have 4-6 bowel movements a day. He started the DME about 2 weeks ago. And the diarrhea started 4 days ago.

Good morning, ma'am,

Indeed, this is often associated with teething. I recommend applying a zinc-based ointment (at least 40%) at each diaper change and checking the diaper often to change it as soon as it is soiled.
