Hello, thank you for your question!
I would indeed recommend to stop taking Accutane, at least 1 week before and during the trip, in order to reduce the risk of photosensitivity.
Keep in mind that depending on the dose you are currently taking and the duration of the trip, it may be recommended to resume it at a lower dose upon your return (if you wish to resume it at that time)
I hope I've been helpful, don't hesitate if you have any other questions!

And if I decide to continue taking accutane (40mg) during my stay, what should I do to keep my skin healthy and beautiful? Thank you very much

Phew, you'll think I'm pretty flat! I suggest this to everyone... Reduce your exposure to the sun, as it is very damaging to your skin in the short and long term. At worst, avoid the sun between 10am and 3pm
Apply a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 45, at least 30 minutes before your exposure to the sun and often during the day

Okay I understand! So if I understand correctly, the best thing to do would be to stop the treatment 1 week before and for the duration of the trip. This way, I could allow myself to be in the sun more while protecting myself with a good sunscreen?

Yes, it would be best to suspend the Accutane if sun exposure cannot be avoided. It would be highly appropriate to limit alcohol consumption as it can affect the liver, as can taking Accutane
As for tanning, the days when it was considered good to come back from a trip with a tan are over. There is too much evidence that sun exposure is extremely damaging to the skin and other organs like the eyes...
If you want to swim or play volleyball on the beach, go ahead :) but apply sunscreen often (before and after swimming or exercise) and wear a cap :)
