Can I stop wearing a bandage when scabies forms? Can I go to the pool?

64 year old man. I had a reaction like allergic dermatitis following an insect bite. I have been putting a breathable adhesive bandage on the boo-boo for 7 days. There is now a "scab" forming. No infection.

Hello,

If the scab is still new, it can be fragile. I still recommend covering it until it is more mature, and patting the area well after swimming.
