I stopped the depo provera and started the pill because I was gaining weight. In the meantime I have never had my period. Is this normal? Also, will I lose the weight I gained?

Yes, it's normal for your period not to have occurred yet. There may even be a few months between the time when you stop this medication and the return of your period (especially if it was taken for several months or years).

For weight gain, you may have difficulty losing that weight. Make sure you eat a varied diet and move well, every day. Some women are unable to lose the weight gained in their late teens.
