Hello, I had 4 stents on March 23, 2021, I take plavix which gives me a lot of side effects. I also take aspirin 80mg, dexilant 60mg, perindopril 2mg, ezetimide 10mg. Thank you so much!

Hello,
Following stenting, it is usually recommended to take Plavix minimally 1 year. This is because it is during the first year that we are more at risk of clogging the stents placed. Depending on your medical condition, the duration of your Plavix treatment may be longer. However, if there is presence of side effect, know that there are possible alternatives.
So, I strongly recommend that you discuss it with your pharmacist who can discuss with your doctor the possibility of stopping or changing it.
