I stopped the contraceptive pill in April, but my cycle varies between 47 and 83 days since then, is this normal?

There's not much you can do to regulate a menstrual cycle, unfortunately (except take a birth control pill...).

If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for a year (next April), then we can talk to a doctor about this irregular cycle.
