For the record, I was taking 2 medications:
  • 25 mg clonazepam
  • 37.5 mg venlafaxine

My family doctor told me it was very small doses. So I figured it wouldn't be that hard, but on the contrary.

My doctor is on vacation.
I had been taking these medications for 3 1/2 years

Hello Sir,
The situation you present can indeed occur when venlafaxine is stopped too abruptly. Why were you stopped them?

I was the one who decided to stop them. I wanted to move on.

And clonazepam is 0.25 mg

Yes, I had figured it should be 0.25mg and not 25mg :)
In such a case, be aware that if the withdrawal symptoms are too severe, you can resume the medication, but that in any case, the symptoms should be over about 10 days after the last intake.
