Good morning, ma'am,
Do you currently have any other symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, even a little?
Do you have discharge from your eyes, and if so, is it clear, during waking hours?
Do you have eye pain (not just a gritty or itchy feeling), difficulty tolerating light, or decreased visual acuity?
Finally, do you wear contact lenses?

Hello,
I have had a cold for about a week.
I have runny nose mostly at night for now, it started last night.
My eyes are sensitive, burning and feel very dry.
I wear contact lenses, during the day, but very rarely.

Thanks for the feedback!
This can often happen with a viral infection. It is like a cold that has "gone up" in the eye and resolves itself after 5-7 days. Non-pharmacological measures are usually sufficient:
Use clean wet compresses to clean the area for example after waking up, just make sure not to share the towel. Artificial tears such as Systane, Refresh Tears or others can be instilled as often as needed to improve comfort. Avoid wearing contact lenses for at least 1 week.
I would like to advise you that the symptoms you describe are usually enough to suggest that you seek medical attention as wearing contact lenses is a risk factor for a more severe infection.
If the situation persists for more than 5 days, or if it gets worse, you should consult an optometrist as a precaution.
I hope I have been of some help to you and remain available if you have any further questions
