My boy has an itchy rash, what should I do?

My boy has a rash all over his body and it itches. He hasn't had any fever lately and his brother had the same rash last week but not as bad. What can I apply? I have already tried moisturizer. Also I am pregnant, is it dangerous for the baby?

It is more concentrated on the cheeks, and the folds

Hello Madam, thank you for your question!
It is difficult to determine the exact cause of this rash. If your child's general condition remains good, I suggest applying a fragrance-free moisturizer like Aveeno (which is oat-based) to the face and body as often as needed during the day. I also suggest using a fragrance-free soap such as Dove, and to avoid rubbing the skin too vigorously to dry it, instead, lightly tap it to leave a thin layer of moisture and apply moisturizer quickly afterwards.
In the case of very uncomfortable itching, we can suggest an anti-histamine such as Reactine (taken once a day, causes little drowsiness but may act a little less quickly) or Benadryl (acts a little more quickly but must be taken 3 to 4 times a day, may greatly sedate or cause excitement in the very young). Your pharmacist will be able to help you choose which one you prefer.
Finally, some childhood ailments can pose a risk to the pregnant woman and the fetus. Basic hygiene measures, such as washing hands and surfaces frequently and avoiding hugs, are usually sufficient.
I hope I have been helpful, I remain available if you have further questions
