Can I apply something to protect the cortisone cream that "leaks" when I urinate?

Following a vaginitis + a vaginosis, my vulva area is very irritated and the pain is sharp. The doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory steroid cream to be applied morning and evening. When I urinate and I wipe with a wet paper to not irritate the area more, I remove the cream and the intense discomfort returns. I have been using the cream for 48 hours.

Good morning, ma'am,
If you applied the cream within 30 minutes of using the toilet, there is no need to reapply it. However, a personal lubricant or moisturizer such as KY or Replens may help relieve the irritation as well.

Wouldn't the application of Replens interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment? After how long after the application of the dr cortisone cream could I apply Replens for example?

You can apply the moisturizer 5 to 10 minutes after, it should not affect the treatment.
