Can I apply something to a loose suture to help it heal?

I have a post-delivery tear (the yeast) and my suture broke. Can I apply something to speed up the healing process?

Thank you for your question!
To make sure I understand and answer better, do you mean that the suture is currently loose and the wound is open?

Indeed, the stitch was removed and the wound was left open since the wound had started to close. I was then advised to lie down so that my skin would stay glued and thus help the healing process.
But I wonder if some kind of ointment could help a little.

Thanks for the feedback!
If the wound is open, it is best to keep it covered with a bandage. The covered skin will heal better. There is no need to apply anything while the wound is open.
Once it is completely closed, a fragrance-free moisturizing cream or ointment such as Base Glaxal, Aveeno, Cutibase, Vaseline, can be applied to moisturize and help diminish the eventual appearance of a scar.
